The department of horticulture is meticulously orchestrating the preparations to present an enchanting exhibition of diverse flowers, aiming to captivate the attention of visiting tourists. Alongside the floral exhibits, provisions for essential amenities such as toilets and drinking water facilities are being meticulously arranged to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for attendees throughout the 10-day affair. Furthermore, bolstered police security measures are being enacted in Kodaikanal to forestall any potential disruptions.

In tandem with the annual flower spectacle, the Kodai Vizha, or Kodai fest, is poised to complement the floral extravaganza. The festival boasts an array of entertainment options including traditional and folk cultural performances, engaging in traditional games, a thrilling fishing competition, a captivating parade of decorated boats, and an entertaining dog show, promising a diverse and enriching experience for tourists.

Despite the implementation of the e-pass system in Kodaikanal this year, which has had a discernible impact on tourist footfall, organizers anticipate a surge in attendance for both the 10-day flower show and Kodai fest. These events are poised to draw visitors in droves to the picturesque hill station, underscoring the enduring allure of Kodaikanal’s cultural and natural splendor.
